Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold in both team floor and the individual competitions. Bronze was taken with the balance bar. She became one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics to earn the most medals. The gold medal was hers in the team competition in the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Also, she received silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. It was three years since she last competed in gymnastics competitions. She also was part of gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly is an active member and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. She hopes to pursue growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a novel she is writing will come coming out in the year ahead.
